SITD assaults Edinburgh. Edinburgh fights back with cold weather

This post has been a little while in coming but better late than never, right?

SITD have returned from the British University Dryslope championships (BUDS) 2007 with a big grin on our faces. The filming went well, the set-up was exhilarating, and the riding was incredible. The UK's top new talent in the university scene threw down as hard as they could to compete for some great prizes; all while having the best time one can have on the side of a steep hill in Edinburgh.

Alongside the guys from Sub.tv, we got some sterling footage, which was expertly and quickly edited together by Chris Asquith of Regime Change productions. When the video was shown to the students at the black-tie gala event on the last night, the reaction was nothing short of inspiring.

The video, along with results and links can be found on the BUSC website.

BUSC
BUDS 2007 Chris Asquith edit

SITD in Bristol

Ahoy folks! Craig here, reporting after a waterlogged night in Bristol at the BUSC Fistful of Dollars Urban Rail jam. What a night it was!

Big thanks to the BUSC for inviting us down to film, as well as thanks to our good buddy Adam Rowland for supplying us with gucci kit to play with, as well as getting footage on the day.

Skiers and Snowboarders from the four corners of the UK came to the Bristol waterfront in the hope of throwing down some sick tricks for handfuls of sweet, sweet currency. The Urban knights DJ's laid down the tunes to get the riders and crowd pumping and the British weather did its up most to drench everyone in sight.

Nothing short of a flood, or slight drizzle if there wasn't beer waiting for us afterwards, could keep SITD from getting the shots though. We came away with some sterling footage despite wind, rain, fear of heights and lighting failures. Edited footage should be up soon. Keep an eye on the showreel!

Catch you later, breadbins

Craig
